PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy
Platelet-rich plasma therapy uses a concentrated portion of the patient’s own blood, which is prepared and injected into a selected treatment area. PRP is used for certain tendon, ligament, muscle, and joint conditions, although results and supporting evidence vary by diagnosis.
