Dear Patient:
You have been referred to Bay Area Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine for your work-related injury. Please be assured we will make every effort to ensure that your experience is as comfortable as possible. Upon receiving the appointment request, we will attempt to schedule your appointment within 24-48 hours.
Bay Area Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is a full-service orthopedic facility with locations in Hanover, Annapolis, and Chester. We have six physicians and one physician assistant who treat a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal needs.
Please make sure to bring any films (X-ray or MRI) or other records you have had previous to your appointment with BAO. You must obtain these from the referring physician’s office/urgent care and hand-carry them to your appointment with us
After your examination, the physician’s report will be sent to your insurance provider within two or three days at which time requests are reviewed for authorization for any additional tests, therapy, injections or surgery. Follow-up visits are scheduled after your appointment.
